Meeting Wrapup
Our members nominated three outstanding causes:Mana‘olana Pink PaddlersMaui Chamber OrchestraMerwin ConservancyWe had over 100 women attend — our largest attendance to date — and over 70 who stayed for dinner. Mick Fleetwood joined us and presented the donation to Mana‘olana Paddlers. The group was nominated by several members who shared their mission of supporting cancer survivors on Maui as well as offering "ashes to sea" ceremonies. The funds raised will be used to purchase and maintain outrigger paddling equipment.

Aloha 100 Women Who Care:Mana’olana Pink Paddlers will be forever in your debt for the immediate difference you made in our lives. We have been trying to get a grant to purchase another double hull canoe to carry our cancer survivors, who are often weak and need help for almost 2 years. But we are a purely volunteer organization, and trying to push through all the red-tape to get a grant has been long and tedious, and not successful.In July 2016, we came to a 100 Women who Care meeting, told you about our needs, and in one hour you raised over $11,500 for our cause and the next day we placed our order for our double hull canoe.Just like magic, the power of caring women changed our lives. We are so appreciative, and can’t wait to participate to help other needy causes on Maui achieve their dreams.
