ALOHA
We distribute $20,000+ to local non-profits four times a year!
We are a charitable nonprofit orgaination in the processs of obtaining 501(c)(3) status.
Our Mission is to:
Provide an accessible and simple means for women in the community to support and raise funds for deserving charitable and educational nonprofit organizations in Maui County. We aim to foster and encourage local community-based participation, networking, and collaborating partnerships in a socially meaningful, charitable way.
Our main program is helping to raise and distribute funds for nonprofit organizations throughout Maui County. We also network with local businesses to raise additional funds for local nonprofits. We hope to one day start a scholarship program for young women in our community to assist in local impact projects. Mentorships are also important to us and we expect to be launching a mentor program as early as 2027.
We Distribute $20,000+ in 1 hour!
We gather for one hour, four times a year, and each member donates $100 (or more…) We then distribute 100% of the funds collected directly to the chosen local nonprofit.
Any member in good standing and in attendance of our Giving Event can nominate a local charity, nonprofit, or worthy cause, whose names are put into a bowl. NOMINATION FORM HERE
Three names are drawn at random during each gathering.
The 100 Women Who Care Maui member, or a representative from the non-profit, makes a 5-minute presentation about her nominated cause.
All members who are present and current with donations, vote with a secret ballot, for one of the three causes.
All members donate via GRAPEVINE (automatic quarterly donation platform)and guests write their checks out to the nonprofit organization that receives the most votes. Collectively, we are raising over $20k for a local charity each quarter!
It’s fast, simple, and amazingly effective. Plus, all the money stays right here in Maui County.
